I have been hearing a lot of buzz around containers and micro-services. While there are other tools like Apache Mesos, Docker Swarm and Red Hat Openshift, Kubernates seems to be more enterprise ready and hence i decided to explore Kubernetes first.

Kubernetes is a container and data center orchestration tool. Microservices are usually deployed into containers. Atleast, that’s what i have heard 🙂

A Kubernetes Cluster consists of Master Node and Worker Nodes.
